About The Art

Canvas paintings are created by using several layers of different medium.  Each piece is rich with color and texture.  Frames are sturdy 1"X 2" construction, wired and ready to hang.

Almost all of the canvas art by Tracie Ritz is "brushless". I use rollers, sponges, dowels, handled sponges, rags, and anything I can think of (except bristle paint brushes) to create my art.

The sides of each piece are painted black or the medium wraps around the sides. The canvas is stapled on the back.  No additional framing is needed.
